I super duper love lawn tennis! wee! PART 1

        

        Last time I played tennis, I was so discouraged because it's like I don't even know how to perform the basic skills that were taught to us by our coach. Makalagot jud kaayo to, ana gud ko sa ako self, "aysus! maypag muundang, tsk3, hasta ra ba jud ka init." But what had happened today really changed my perspective about this game, in fact it made me love the game even more. hahaha! :D 

April 6, 2011. 

      Pastilan, di pa ko ganahan jud mubangon kay paagtuon ra ko sa akong mama sa chapel para mag teach, dili man sa kay dili ko ganahan mag-teach, ganahan lang jud ko mu-absent para mka-prepare ko sa among tournament kay wala jud intawun ko naka-practice gahapom, too bad. :3

9:30am, gipukaw na jud ko sa akong mom. 

mom: uie, mata na, 9:30 na, imung mga students didto.

me: labad akong ulo ma oi. (labad bya jud to akong ulo, pero ma-carry ra man, haha! mao NALANG jud akong gi rason kay lage, no choice. :D)

mom: nah, cge man gud ka ug bilar2.. *walkout*

Minutes later, ning bangun nako kay excited nako mapildi sa akong siksik na kontra.. :3

After naligo and all, ning gawas na jud ko sa balay ug ning agto sa tennis court. 

Waaaa!! super duper late kaau ko. as in. I was late for 2 hours. hahha! :P aw.. Pero I think 1 hour and 55 min late pa ko ato kay nka-execute pa man ko kaisa. :D 

Tira2 na daw ko sa balls, hahha! grabe ka hangak oi. wew. 

coach: sige pulot muna kayo ng mga bola. 

me: *dagan2* *punit balls* 

guy: *ning tan-aw sa ako* Hala, lahi na pod lage imung hair?

me: confused. *smile* ha? 

ahahhahha!! Did I ever changed  my hair? o.O

Hahaha! Funny lage kaau to, I don't even know what was he talking about. Char! close mi?! hahha! 

WAIT, siya man diay tong guy na kabuan sa isa pa ka guy na na-classmate nako katong 1st day ko ning attend sa tennis class. Ug siya jud tong guy na akong nadamguhan after ato na day!!! hahaha!!! Whatever! :P

Pag-abot sa akong ate didto sa tennis court, ning duol to si "guy" sa ako ate ug nag talk sila. Hahahha! I can sense na apil jud ko sa ilang ginasturyahan! :P 

Ug tama ko! hahha!!! Ana siya sa akong ate na same daw kaau mi ug nawung. Dah!! Gwapa pa ko sa akong ate oi, joke. hahah! lawas pa lang, layo ra kaau mi sa akong ate. 

guy: *he was talking to my sister* "ning tambok lage ka?" 

guy: *he was talking to me* "lahi na pod lage imung buhok?" 

HAHAH! cge padayuna jud na dong. :P

Toto vs. Vincent

Gash! siksik kaayo siya mu-dula, (Toto diay ang tawag namo sa iya) sila nag-kontra ni Vincent. hahha!!! 

Winner: Toto.. :D hahha! 

Sus, pareha unta ko niya ka-siksik oi, malipay jd kaau ko ana. :D 

Reva vs. Mohaima 

Nice kaau ilang game, hahhah! Si Reva over2 na kaayo, pamugasay much? pero siksik pod kaau siya oi. 12 years old pa gani. Then si Mohaima, relax ra man kaayo, and siksik pod siya. Nice kaau ilang game. Makasuya oi. Banga jud kaau ko compared sa ila. :3 

Ang gi-assign na tig punit sa bola ani nga match kay si Toto. haha! Funny kaayo siya, hahha! basta funny kaau siya. Kay ga-lingkod2 ra man tawun ko, gi tawag ko sa among coach and ana siya na assist daw ko kuha ug bola. :3,  Whatever coach, init bya. hahha!

So mao to kami duha nag-kuha sa mga bola. KAPOI!!! >.<

Toto: LABS! ambi ng bola bi! *smile and laugh i think*

Me: o.O fudge!! ayaw kuno ko tawaga ana!! *sabay labay sa bola sa iya*

Hala! gikataw-an ra ko nila tanan, huhuh.. apil ang uban mga players and among coach.. labs na jud ila tawag nako. 

Continue japun mi pick ug bola kay intawun dugay  kaau nahuman ilang dula kay sunod-sunod ra ilang scores.

Me: TRISH! tara ang bola oh! hahah! *evil smile* (TRISH man  gud nkasulat sa iyang jersey! :P)

TRISH: haha! ayaw ana Labs. Mag-ilis na lang ko oi para dili ko nimu tawagun ug girl na name.. :D 

Me: haha! bahala ka! Trish japun akong tawag sa imu, lol, ug mag-ilis pa ka! bwhahaha! :P

Kulit kaau siya, until nag end ang game, labs jud iyang gitawag sa ako. >.<

Winner: Reva

Clandine vs. Andrea (ambut unsay spelling bsta laki na siya na bata :D)

Winner: CLANDINE! o.O

 NADAOG ko!! hahha! oh yeah! Winner kaau ko,  as in. Lipay kaau ko. WINNER BY DEFAULT.  :3 Pastilan, nice na unta kaau paminawun nga nadaog ko. Nadaog jud ko kay wala ning tunga akong bata na kontra.. tsk3 .. Pero sige lang, the fact nga nakadaog ko, payts na.. hahha! 

Pero ang kalagot lng jud, sa Advance na category pa jud ko na belong, kasamuk ba! Beginner pa man ko. TT_TT, okay ra unta kung sa Intermediate, gash, sa Advance pa jud, siksik na bya kaayo ng naa sa advance. :( Nah, absenot man gud kaau ko, mao na. tsk3.. 

End of games na dayun, sa monday na pod ang continuation. :D

Hahaha!! then nagdula mi, doubles. hahah! Sa part 2 na lang nako ni i chika. :D

         HAHHA!! I must be very honored because I was able to join a game with the advance players.. :D haha! Ako pinakaloser ato. BUT there was someone who did not made me feel that I'm a loser. :)  6 mi kabuok. Dah! Wa man jud unta ko labot ato, i mean dapat wala jud ko dapat ning apil sa ilang match. gapractice2 ra bya ko ug serve, then ana man sila na magdula lage daw, doubles. So, game! hahah! though banga kaau ko. :D

Players :

Me, Toto a.k.a Trish, Vincent, Reva, Mohaima and Heidi (ako sis)

So here's the team up supposedly para sa doubles na match.

Toto and Vincent vs Reva and Mohaima.

But later, mao na dayun ni ang team up.

Toto and me vs. Heidi and Vincent

hahha! at first, ga-serve ra bya jud ko ug bola ato coz I have to practice daw lage sa pag-serve sa bola according sa among coach. So, I did kung unsa iyang gi-ingun.

me : *serving the ball* FAIL

*another serve* FAIL na pod!!

*and another serve na pod* FAIL! arggghhh!! >.< banga kaau ko!!!

Minutes later, magdula daw mi. What?! Apil jud ko?! hahhaa! Good luck sa ila, loser ra ba kaau ko. :D

Trish: "cge, kami partner ni Labs"..

Me: o.O (whatever! Labs jud iya tawag nako. hahaha! After all, dili ra man diay awkward kung naa y mutawag nako ug Labs, murag maanad ra sad ko. :D )

Trish : "Vincent, kamo ni Heidi.

Vincent: "game."

HAHHA! partner jud mi, totally opposite, siya kay maau kaau, ako tawun. phew. loser! :D

START NA ANG GAME

Si Trish ang una nag serve..

Me: (Hala! mu-kiay jud?! hahaha! :D)

When ako na ang time ang mag-serve, gash! na-pressure kaau ko. hahaha! di man ko kabalo.. :D

Ana na lang ko sa akong self, "ah, bahala na, sulod lage ni.. :D wew"

Me: *serving the ball* *phew* FAIL! (2 balls man ang pwede nimu i-serve)

*serving for the 2nd ball* *phew* FAIL NA POD!!! KASAMUK BA OI!! wala nay mas banga pa ani?! hahha! :P

Vincent : "Another ball pa.. Ball 1 pa to. hehhe.

Trish: "cge2, ball one pa to." *smile* "tarunga labs, ipasulod lang jud"

Me: (hahha! LABS! mubagting jud sa akong ears bsta makdungog ko ana,. okay here we go again. Another chance to serve the ball)

Trish: "1, 2, 3.."

Me: *pugs* FAIL! (haha! loser ba)

Another ball na pod daw. hahha! cge go.. :D kadaghan ba nako ug chance oi.. weee!

This time, murag sila na jud tanan, including our coach ang nag cheer sa ako. hahha! whatever, samut kaya ko ma-distract.. hahah! lol.

Me: *serving the ball* SUCCESS!!! wahahaha! (dah! sulod ra jud lage!)

The game continued and I was just laughing, smiling, screaming and shouting the whole game. hahhaha! as in lingaw kaau siya.. Ug lingaw pod kaau si Trish, lol, mura ra siya ug ga-dula2. nah, naulit na lang gud silang Vincent and Heidia, seryoso lage daw. hhaha! Funny and joker man gud kaau si Trish oi.. hehhe..

So  mag-change na pod unta ug team-up, I was expecting na dili nako nila padulaon ato na time kay lage banga. Kinda awkward bya to kay it's like they are saying, "hawa na beh, kami sa mag-dula para matarung".. Awkward jud kaau siya as in. haha! Murag ginatagad ra ko nila na muhawa ko ug dili sa mu-apil sa ilang game. And Trish saved me. hahha! Ning insist jud siya na kami jud mag-partner.. hhaha! ambut niya oi. Gitagaan na bya unta siya ug lain partner,  pero kami ra lage daw. lol.. cge go. haha! no choice..

HAHHA! Lingaw man diay kaau paminawun ba bsta ang real na mga guys magpabayot-bayot? si jamil jud akong ma-remember ani..

Vincent: I love you babe! tarunga ha. (pa-bayot effect dayun)

Trish : I love you too babe! *tira dayun sa ball*

Me: (sus, mu-hirit pa jd ang duha oi. hahha!! )

And the game started na pod.

Everytime mag serve ko or magtira ko sa ball, gina-encourage and naga cheer jud siya nako. haha!

He is such an inspiration. :D :D :D :D

Then naa to isa ka round na grabe jud ang rally, dugay kaau nga naay nka-commit ug fault so padayun ra mi ug tira2, then ang other team dayun ang nka-commit ug sayup.

Me and Trish : *PLAK* (hahah! wa lage ko nag-expect ato nga mag-apir mi.. haahha! buang oi! )

Well, sige ra japun ko katawa and all.. hahah! Lingaw mi tanan.. Si Trish, kung dili partner iya tawag sa ako kay Labs jud.. haha! lol.

HAHHA!! ako ganahan jud na part is everytime naay ball na incoming sa ako, ginatry jud niya iyang best na makuha ang bola para siguro dili ko maigo? aw.. ana ako ma-feel.. haha! ka-caring ba sa amaw! :D

And the game ended.. WINNER MI!!! weee!! oh yeah.. siksik kaau ako partner maong nkadaog mi.. :D

Me and Trish: *PLAK* (hahha! nag-apir na pod mi!! hahha! lingaw kaau ko.. :D . aw siya man pod.. : P )

Gutom na jd kaau. 1pm na gud to, wala pa mi tanan nag lunch. So I decided mu-uli para mag-eat.

When pa-exit na jud ko ato.

Trish: Labs! asa man ka?

Me: (ninglingi ko) Mukaon sa ko.

Trish: Dali, mangaon ta. hehhe.

Me: aw.. lol..

Then I turned my back with a smile on my face. hahhah!! :) :) :)

I really had a great day.. Wala ko nag-expect na somehow ma-close mi. Even si Vincent, sort of friends na pod mi. Kay kato man gud 1st time nga nagkita mi kay nagkauban mi sa session kay dili kaau nako feel silang duha, especially si Vincent. But then, always jud na ma-sayup ako 1st impression ai. >.< tsk3..haha! Lingaw diay kaau sila..:D

Excited na kaau ko this monday.. weeee!! hahah! Tournament na pod.. Sure ko naa jud si Trish kay mag-match man silang Reva.. haaha! :D Mag-dula akong idol. :D

Study Guide: Legal and Ethical Aspects of the Internet

Protection of Intellectual Property

The major legal and ethical problems that arise in terms of the Internet and electronic media deal with intellectual property issues. There are well developed laws that govern physical property. Physical property, also known as tangible property, is property that we can touch and feel. Intellectual property, on the other hand, deals with the ownership of ideas or the expression of ideas. Since ideas cannot be touched or felt, but they do belong to the person who developed (or authored) them, they are known as intangible property.

There are several forms of legal protection available for intellectual property. These are:

• trade secret protection
• copyright protection

1.1 Trade Secret Protection: This method of protecting ownership of an idea is to ensure that the idea is kept a secret. An example is the formula used in preparing Coca Cola syrup. Very few employees know the formula, and those who do are required to sign nondisclosure agreements in order to have access to it. The formula is safe as long as no employee divulges the secret. The company could take them to court if they did so. Another example of a trade secret may be a company’s business plan or strategy.

Trade secrets can only exist if the basis for the idea can be kept a secret. This may not be possible in the world of computer technology and programming.

Copyright Protection

Copyright protection is available for an original expression of an idea that is fixed in any physical medium, such as paper, electronic tapes, floppy discs, CD ROMs, etc. It is important to note that the "right" or protection is given to how the idea is expressed, not to the idea itself.

To illustrate this, consider two songs, one by Britney Spears, and another by the Backstreet Boys, both of which deal with the idea of love, but express the idea in different ways. Each can copyright the way they express their idea of love in their songs. They cannot copyright the idea of love itself.

Works such as books, music, computer programs, source and object codes, etc. can be protected by copyright. In addition to the actual code of a program, copyright can extend to the screen layout and graphics of the program. Copyright extends to both published and unpublished material.

Copyright Issues Involving Domain Names

A domain name is the name or address used to link to a particular computer on the Internet. An example of a domain name is www.nbc.com. The name is segmented into several levels. In the example given, the top level domain (com) is on the right, the designation of the specific computer is indicated on the left (www), and the subdomain (nbc) is indicated between these two. (Turban et al. 2000, p.506). Domain names can be selected by the person seeking an address, and need to be registered with the appropriate registering body.

Disputes have arisen over domain names because some companies have used names similar to those of brick-and-mortar companies or copyrighted names or materials, in order to attract web traffic to their site. Some individuals have also registered large numbers of such names, not for their use, but with the intention of selling these names to the highest bidder. As a result, sometimes a company with a well known brand name has applied to establish a web address and found that the name has already been registered by someone else who now asks for substantial payment for purchase of the domain name. 

In such disputes, the party claiming the right to a domain name (the complainant) bases such claims on its existing copyright or trademark rights. Such claims are usually valid if the party can show that the defendants use of the copyrighted mark is creating confusion in the minds of the public, or that it will dilute the impact of a famous brand name. For example, if domain names were different versions of Coca Cola, such as Koka Kola, Kola Koke, etc, Coca Cola could claim that such use was creating confusion in people’s minds about the producer of the product bearing such names, and would also "dilute" or diminish the value of the Coca Cola brand name.

The general rule for determining domain name disputes is to compare the following (Greenstein, 2000):

The date the registered applicant of the domain name first used the domain name OR the effective date of a validating trademark registration; and

The date the claimant of a dispute first used a trademark OR the effective date of the claimant’s validated registration.

After the Foundation Day

Boring..... but Fun...

dili kaau chui ang games kay naulanan ug nainitan ra mi... dili man gud kaau daghan ang activities, gamay ra man pod gud ang days sa pag celebrate...

pero, ok ra bya japun... na enjoy ra japun..

I really wonder why people suddenly change. 1 day they're sweet, the next day they're not. 1 day they're here, the next day they're not. 1 day you're important, the next day you're worthless. 1 day they say i love, the next day they say who are you? 
That's how ironic things and people can be. You choose to get hurt when you choose to be in love...
